Description
Akur8 is hiring a Pricing Actuary to apply advanced machine learning and predictive analytics to insurance pricing and reserving. The role works with Sales, Product, R&D, Engineering, Marketing, Leadership, and client stakeholders; leads proof-of-concept demonstrations; translates actuarial concepts and client requirements into software-driven solutions; supports rate-filing and approval processes; contributes to white papers and conference presentations; and provides feedback to the product roadmap. The position requires at least five years of P&C or general insurance pricing experience, knowledge of ISO products and ERC, hands-on ratemaking and rate-deployment experience, and the ability to travel approximately one week per month. Preferred qualifications include ACAS or FCAS credentials, Python or R familiarity, and the ability to work from the New York office or an Eastern or Central time-zone location.
