Description
Omicron electronics GmbH is seeking a Primary Applications Engineer serving the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. The role provides technical ownership and application support for power-system primary equipment—including transformers, GIS/AIS, switchgear, cables, and substations—through commissioning, testing, diagnostics, troubleshooting, customer visits, and the asset lifecycle. The engineer will also support regional business development, monitor standards and competition, participate in technical events, and prepare presentations and technical papers. The position requires an electrical engineering education, several years of power-system testing and primary-application experience, strong customer orientation, communication and organizational abilities, willingness to travel up to 50%, and excellent English and Arabic language skills.
