Description
The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is hiring a Primary Care Physician to provide direct medical care to people experiencing homelessness across its Denver-area programs, including Stout Street Health Center, Recuperative Care Center, Street Medicine, home visits, mobile clinics, and satellite clinics. The role requires a medical or osteopathic degree, residency completion, specialty board certification or eligibility, Colorado physician licensure, and DEA licensure. The physician will use motivational interviewing, harm reduction, and trauma-informed care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and work primarily at 2130 Stout Street with possible travel to other clinical sites. Schedules include four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour days, with evening coverage, possible weekend coverage, and at-home call after the first year.
