Description
AECOM is hiring an emerging Primary Electrical Engineer to join its Transmission & Distribution team in Auckland, New Zealand. The role supports concept and detailed design of primary electrical systems and substations across low, medium, and high-voltage projects, including single-line drawings, substation layouts, MV and HV cable designs, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, client and stakeholder engagement, and participation in design reviews and value engineering. Applicants should have substantial primary or substation design experience, preferably at least three years, and ideally be working toward Chartered Engineer status with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, power systems, or a related discipline.
