Description
The Primary Engineer will design AIS/GIS substations up to EHV voltage levels, prepare primary engineering drawings, layouts, sections, equipment arrangements, cable routing, grounding, and lightning protection, and prepare equipment specifications, BOMs, and RFQs. The role also reviews vendor technical offers, ensures compliance with IEC and IEEE standards, and coordinates with internal engineering teams, vendors, and customers. It requires 8–12 years of relevant substation primary design experience, including AIS/GIS and EHV/HV substation work, along with AutoCAD or Revit proficiency.
