Description
The TAFT Primary/Lead Instructor – Field Artillery (13A) will serve as the in-country Site Lead for the Artillery Officers Basic Training Course in Iraq. The role plans, manages, and delivers field artillery officer training; coordinates with IDS, SATMO, OSC‑I, and Iraqi Ministry of Defense representatives; supervises instructors; develops and evaluates assessments; maintains doctrinal accuracy; and ensures students achieve proficiency with artillery systems such as the 120mm mortar, M198, and M109A5 howitzer. The position requires ten years of program management or military-equivalent experience with artillery or mortar-unit supervision, NCO-level or higher knowledge of the specified systems, and a bachelor’s degree.
