Description

Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Primary Planner in Bangalore to plan and coordinate materials, production schedules, and supply chain activities for the Varian Semiconductor Business Unit. The role manages demand forecasts, material availability, inventory levels, production readiness, supply chain risks, NPI and ECO transitions, ERP/MRP data, KPI reporting, and S&OP processes while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality, and program management teams.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of experience in production planning, material planning, supply chain management, or manufacturing operations
Experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment, preferably semiconductor capital equipment
Preferred Qualifications: APICS CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent certification
Experience supporting semiconductor equipment manufacturing or complex engineered products
Knowledge of inventory optimization, demand planning, and capacity planning methodologies
Experience managing product lifecycle changes and ECO implementation
