Description
Riverbend School is seeking an experienced Primary Teacher to design and prepare a Montessori environment for children aged 3-6. The role involves preparing for the cognitive, social/emotional, and physical achievement of children, as well as ensuring their safety and well-being. Responsibilities include demonstrating competency with Montessori philosophy, giving lessons, preparing students for school events, supporting students with individual behavioral plans, and maintaining classroom cleanliness. The teacher will also build relationships with parents and community organizations, prepare progress reports, maintain attendance records, attend meetings, and participate in professional development. The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree (or Associate’s with equivalent experience) and 3-6 (Primary) Montessori certification from an AMS or AMI accredited training center (for Lead Teacher only).
