Description
The Primary Therapist manages client caseloads through individual therapy, bio/psycho/social assessments, treatment planning, family engagement, and group facilitation. The role provides evidence-based substance abuse treatment, coordinates with clinical, medical, and operational teams, documents progress, manages crises, and participates in treatment planning meetings. A master's degree is preferred or related substance abuse experience may substitute, and the position requires clinical licensure or certification such as LPC/MHSP, LADC, LMFT, CADC, or LADAC, along with knowledge of alcohol and chemical dependency treatment, rehabilitation programs, and dual diagnosis.
