L3Harris is hiring a Principal Accountant/Assistant Sector Controller for its Space and Mission Systems Segment, Maritime Sector. Reporting to the Maritime Sector Controller, the role coordinates financial reporting and close-cycle deliverables across seven international business units, reviews contract estimates, supports audits, and leads process-improvement initiatives. The position is based in Palm Bay, Florida, or Rockwall, Greenville, or Plano, Texas, and follows a 9/80 schedule. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or finance, extensive accounting experience, GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley knowledge, complex ERP experience, and audit-facilitation experience; federal acquisition and cost-accounting knowledge and CPA certification are preferred.
