Description
The Principal AI Engineer provides hands-on technical leadership for AI initiatives across the P&C business, designing and deploying machine learning, generative AI, and data science solutions from experimentation through production. The role collaborates with business, product, and technology stakeholders; applies MLOps, software engineering, testing, and responsible AI practices; mentors Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers; and ensures solutions meet performance, reliability, governance, and bias-mitigation standards. Candidates need at least eight years of production AI experience, strong Python and cloud skills, and a master’s degree in a quantitative field.
