The Senior Principal AI Engineer will provide hands-on technical leadership across complex, production-grade AI systems, architecting and building LLM orchestration, retrieval, agentic, and reasoning systems. The role leads multi-agent and tool-calling architectures, technical decisions across data, infrastructure, and APIs, evaluation and governance practices, and mentorship of senior engineers. It requires 12+ years of software engineering experience, deep production AI/ML experience, and proficiency in TypeScript, React, Go, Python, and modern AI frameworks, with a strong focus on shipping reliable systems and helping teams build faster.
