Description
SentinelOne is hiring a Principal AI Platform Engineer / Principal Software Engineer to lead the founding technical vision and multi-year roadmap for its AI Platform. The role owns architecture decisions, engineering standards, technology selection, and build-vs-buy decisions for AI infrastructure, including model gateway routing, agent and MCP infrastructure, evaluation pipelines, and observability. It also partners with product and engineering teams to build customer-facing AI experiences and platformize reusable capabilities, while mentoring senior engineers. The position requires 12+ years of experience with large-scale distributed systems, 2+ years with production LLM-based systems, strong backend coding, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure expertise, and a proven track record as a tech lead. The role is available in Prague, Brno, or remote in the Czech Republic or Slovakia, with Prague-based employees required to work from the office at least two days per week.
