Fortinet is hiring a Principal AI Security Engineer for its Corporate Information Security team to protect AI-driven applications, including LLMs, chatbots, MCP implementations, and autonomous agents. The role covers AI red teaming, threat modeling, vulnerability mitigation, security guardrails, input/output filtering, CI/CD security testing, code and architectural reviews, and research of AI attack vectors. It requires 7+ years of relevant security or AI/ML experience, strong knowledge of LLM architectures and AI security risks, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. The position is fully onsite in Sunnyvale, California, requires U.S. work authorization without sponsorship, and offers a base salary of $170,000-$225,000 plus benefits.
