Microsoft is hiring a Principal AI Software Engineer to help build Agent 365, an enterprise solution for securing, governing, and managing AI agents across the M365 ecosystem. The role combines AI/ML expertise with full-stack development, including designing autonomous applications, developing and fine-tuning large language models, building scalable Azure services and React-based user interfaces, optimizing model performance, applying prompt engineering, and providing technical leadership to software engineers. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field plus 8+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience, along with the ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements.
