Description
The Principal Al Software Engineer will develop enterprise-wide technical strategies and architectures for secure, ethical AI integration across federal agencies. The role leads cross-agency digital transformation projects, integrates AI systems with cloud and legacy platforms, applies cybersecurity-by-design, and establishes IT policies and technical guidance. It requires at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-14 or higher, including complex digital product development, interagency technical leadership, security and privacy integration, and cross-functional team leadership. The position is with GSA’s Office of Technology Transformation Services and offers a GS-15 starting salary of $163,023 per year.
