Nu Quantum is hiring a full-time, permanent Experimental Physicist to join its trapped-ion testbed in Cambridge, United Kingdom. The role focuses on designing and executing remote-entanglement experiments, developing and troubleshooting laser, RF/DC, control, and ultra-high-vacuum systems, mentoring AMO physicists, and collaborating with engineers and theory teams to advance quantum networking. Candidates should have experimental AMO physics experience, preferably in ion trapping, quantum-control expertise, and leadership experience in complex research or multidisciplinary projects.
