Blue State is seeking a Principal Analyst to join their Media Team. This role involves serving as an Analytics Lead and subject matter expert, utilizing data, statistics, and strategic insights to achieve client goals. The Principal Analyst will collect and analyze data, transform insights into actionable recommendations, and develop scalable best practices. They will collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team, plan measurement strategies, and provide strategic leadership on analytics projects. Additionally, the role includes mentoring junior analysts and identifying opportunities to expand analytics offerings.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 7+ years of experience in digital analytics
Extensive experience working with CRMs and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud, data from paid media, and a web analytics suite such as Google Analytics, A/B testing solutions such as Optimizely (or equivalent).
Preferred Qualifications: Expertise in SQL, capable of managing, optimizing, and troubleshooting in a data warehouse environment (BigQuery or Snowflake), with experience in data modeling, familiarity with ETL processes, and deep expertise in leveraging large datasets for strategic decision-making.
Working-level experience with Python, R, or other statistical packages, along with experience in data science and data visualization. Proficiency in statistical methods (significance testing, regression analysis, etc.) and openness to learning new data tools and programming languages.
Strong mentorship and leadership skills, fostering a positive learning environment and providing constructive feedback. Proactive identification and communication of growth goals for self and others, with excellent listening abilities.
Capable of seeing the broader implications of analysis and leading program strategy. Experience translating data and insights into compelling storytelling for client strategy.
A strong collaborator and relationship-builder, contributing positively to teamwork and fostering connections.
Excellent communication skills, effectively interacting with various stakeholders and colleagues.
