Description
Harness is hiring a Principal Analytics Engineer for its data platform team. The role owns curated data models, warehouse transformations, ingestion from SaaS, telemetry, APIs, spreadsheets, and operational databases, and debugging across source systems, pipelines, models, and BI dashboards. The engineer will partner with product, sales, customer success, marketing, finance, and engineering stakeholders; support data access, metric definitions, dashboard issues, and discoverability; and improve documentation, lineage, governance, access patterns, model ownership, and data freshness. The position requires at least 8 years of analytics engineering, data engineering, or related experience, strong SQL and production-grade analytical modeling skills, experience with a modern cloud data warehouse, and experience with a transformation framework such as dbt or SQLMesh.
