CMT (Cambridge Mobile Telematics) is hiring a Principal Android Engineer for its Android SDK team. This principal-level individual contributor role owns a significant part of the mobile technical stack, drives architectural direction, mentors developers, participates in hiring, and supports production incidents. The role requires 7+ years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong Android and mobile engineering skills including Java, Kotlin, Android JetPack, Kotlin coroutines and flows, REST APIs, and experience with mobile architectures, TDD, and continuous deployment. The position is based in Cambridge, MA with a salary range of $167,200 to $209,000 and includes comprehensive benefits plus flexible scheduling and work-from-home policy depending on role.
