Description
Microsoft is hiring a Principal Applied AI Engineering Manager to build and lead an AI engineering pod focused on production agentic AI services for Azure customer support. The role owns engineering execution across LLM orchestration, multi-agent workflows, RAG pipelines, evaluation systems, deployment, reliability, observability, and responsible AI; sets technical direction and standards; mentors engineers; and drives KPIs such as case volume reduction, automation accuracy, resolution time, and customer satisfaction. The position requires a bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience, with additional preferred qualifications including 12+ years of experience, Python and C# production systems, LLM and RAG experience, Azure cloud development, people management, low-code platform experience, AI solution management, and programming experience.
