AECOM is hiring an experienced Principal Aquatic Ecologist to join its Aquatic Ecology Team in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dublin, or Belfast. The role provides technical leadership for aquatic ecology across the UK, supports business development in Scotland, contributes to environmental impact assessments and planning projects, develops monitoring and data analysis, produces ecological impact assessment documents, manages survey design and costing, and mentors and line-manages team members. Candidates need ecological impact assessment and Water Framework Directive experience, knowledge of aquatic monitoring and consenting requirements, legislation knowledge, and a full UK driving licence.
