AECOM is hiring a Principal Architect in Manchester to lead design and technical coordination for Justice-sector projects involving the Ministry of Justice, courts, and Home Office. The role covers new build, refurbishment, compliance upgrades, and expansion projects; produces and coordinates Revit and AutoCAD models and drawings; prepares specifications and reports; reviews vendor and subcontractor documentation; ensures compliance with codes and standards; and mentors junior team members. Candidates must have proven architecture experience in Ministry of Justice and dormitory sleeping accommodation, AutoCAD knowledge, and relevant security clearances, while Revit capability is preferred. The position is Manchester-based with mandatory Wednesday office work and flexible hybrid working.
