Astera Labs is hiring a Principal ATE Test Engineer to develop and oversee ATE test solutions for complex mixed-signal silicon SoC products. The role leads SoC test strategy, collaborates with design and manufacturing partners, defines and implements ATE programs, and owns products from initial samples through high-volume production ramp. Responsibilities include ATE hardware and platform selection, test-plan development, DFT and SerDes testing, ATE programming, silicon and bench-ATE bring-up, correlation, debugging, and production test optimization. The position requires at least a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, eight or more years of experience releasing complex SoC products to high-volume manufacturing, and expertise with high-speed protocols and ATE technologies. The base salary is $209,000 to $240,000 USD.
