ON.energy is hiring a Principal Battery Systems Engineer to set the technical direction and product roadmap for its BESS product line across multiple concurrent development cycles. The role owns architecture, engineering standards, detailed component sizing, vendor and supply-chain strategy, design reviews, field deployment, and external representation, while mentoring engineers and leading technical risk decisions. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, at least 10 years of hands-on BESS or mission-critical power-systems experience, and the ability to work independently and travel 25–30%.
