LGC Biosearch Technologies is hiring a full-time Principal Oligonucleotide Chemist in Petaluma, California, to lead oligonucleotide new product development, synthesis, process development, analytical characterization, troubleshooting, tech transfer, and customer co-creation projects. The role combines hands-on laboratory work with experimental design, data-driven optimization, project leadership, technical communication, and mentorship of scientists. Candidates need a Ph.D. in synthetic organic chemistry, chemical biology, or a related field, extensive oligonucleotide chemistry experience, and at least 15 years of direct industry experience in synthesis, product and process development, and manufacturing tech transfer. The typical annual base salary range is $131,155 to $196,733.
