Pax8 is hiring a Principal Cloud Security Engineer to work remotely across the United States and Canada. The role will establish secure-by-design cloud standards, strengthen identity and access controls, govern software delivery security, validate security architecture, create security metrics and patterns, and partner with DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, and Platform Engineering teams. Candidates need extensive cloud and infrastructure security experience, deep AWS expertise, Kubernetes and workload-isolation knowledge, software-delivery security experience, and the ability to influence technical decisions without reporting-line authority. The position pays $170,000–$193,000 per year and includes medical, dental, and vision coverage plus other benefits.
