Description

CACI is hiring a Principal Consultant - Federal Payroll Analyst to support a federal shared-services payroll modernization implementation. The role analyzes and documents legacy federal payroll business rules, performs fit-gap analysis, evaluates customizations, prepares requirements for government review, facilitates workshops, and supports testing and cutover activities. It is a full-time, regular position performed remotely from within the United States with up to 25% travel and periodic on-site work, requiring a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, seven years of relevant experience, and a Public Trust clearance. The proposed salary range is $78,000 to $163,800.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Required Previous Experiences: 7+ years administering, analyzing, or configuring federal payroll, including Title 5 pay administration
Experience at a federal payroll shared service provider, federal agency payroll office, or federal payroll consulting practice
Experience producing business rule documentation, functional specifications, or configuration requirements
Experience determining payroll requirements from statutes, regulations, and observed system behavior
Preferred Qualifications: Depth in non-Title 5 and special pay systems
Experience on a federal payroll system migration, replacement, or consolidation
Configuration experience on an enterprise payroll engine
Ability to read COBOL, JCL, or copybook structures or experience with a non-relational mainframe database
