Oracle is hiring a Principal Engineer to lead the architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and long-term operation of high-performance virtual networking dataplane services in a multi-tenant cloud environment. The role focuses on C/C++ systems, packet processing, routing, NAT, gateways, traffic management, security enforcement, scalability, reliability, observability, and incident response, while partnering with control-plane, infrastructure, security, hardware, operations, and product teams. Candidates need extensive software development experience, cloud and distributed systems experience, and strong systems-programming and technical-leadership skills.
