The role leads architecture and delivery, writes and reviews production Java code, designs scalable and secure distributed services, establishes capacity and reliability practices, leads incident investigations, mentors engineers, and aligns with partner teams. It requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 8 years of production backend or platform services experience, with strong Java, distributed-systems, concurrency, fault tolerance, and operational experience. The role is an IC4 career level and offers a US hiring range of $114,600 to $234,600 per annum, plus bonus, equity, and deferral opportunities.
