Description
Oracle is hiring a Principal Core Infrastructure Engineer, also described as an AI/ML Forward Deployed Infrastructure Engineer, to design, deploy, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure supporting customer AI and machine learning initiatives. The role involves troubleshooting POC and production deployments, automating infrastructure, securing and scaling systems, advising customers on GPU and cloud migration, and collaborating with technical teams and customers. Required qualifications include scripting and automation with Ansible, Terraform, Python, or Kubernetes; containerization and distributed-systems experience; Linux system administration; networking, security, and documentation skills. Preferred qualifications include Python, Rust, Go, Java, or Scala; AI/ML or HPC infrastructure experience; machine learning framework knowledge; DevOps practices; and GPU systems experience. The role offers a US hiring range of $114,600 to $234,600 per annum and includes medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid leave, and other benefits.
