Oracle is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Next Gen Network Observability team to design and build distributed systems, algorithms, telemetry pipelines, and production services that measure, analyze, and explain network behavior across OCI data centers and WANs. The role develops topology-aware observability, congestion-triangulation, queue-wait estimation, fault localization, root-cause analysis, and controller-consumable signals for automated traffic steering, congestion mitigation, fault isolation, and service recovery. It requires deep systems expertise, advanced programming in languages such as Java, Go, C++, Rust, or Python, and experience with large-scale distributed systems, networking, telemetry, and closed-loop control.
