Description
Oracle is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Next Gen Network Observability team to design and build distributed systems and algorithms that measure, analyze, and explain network behavior across OCI data centers and WANs. The role develops topology-aware observability, congestion-triangulation, queue-wait estimation, fault localization, root-cause analysis, and production services that convert insights into safe, explainable signals for automated traffic steering, congestion mitigation, fault isolation, and service recovery. The engineer will work with Java, Go, C++, Rust, or Python, lead design and code reviews, mentor engineers, and partner with network, SRE, hardware, security, AI/ML, and product teams. The role requires 6–10+ years of experience in large-scale distributed systems, networking, telemetry, or observability, and offers a US hiring range of $114,600 to $234,600 per annum.
