Microsoft is hiring a Principal Customer Experience Program Manager to own the Azure Data and Database customer experience portfolio. The role translates customer, operational, telemetry, and capacity signals into strategic actions, defines portfolio strategy and governance, builds demand-management and risk-mitigation systems, and transforms manual processes into scalable, agent-assisted workflows. It partners with engineering, product, capacity planning, field, support, operations, and business teams to influence investments and improve customer outcomes at cloud scale. The role requires a bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience, with preferred qualifications including a master's degree, extensive cross-functional project experience, cloud infrastructure and capacity planning expertise, and experience with AI-assisted workflows. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD 142,800–274,800 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
