Caylent is hiring a fully remote Principal Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of complex AWS cloud-based data and analytics solutions for customers. The role defines strategic client roadmaps, supports pre-sales engagements as a data engineering subject matter expert, interviews and mentors technical candidates and staff, and oversees data standards and operating procedures. Candidates need 10 years of experience designing complex data systems, at least 4 years in the AWS data landscape, experience across traditional and modern data technologies, and proficiency in areas such as relational databases, data modeling, Spark, streaming, NoSQL, SageMaker, Bedrock, DataOps, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and Python.
