Anaplan is seeking a Principal Data Engineer to lead the architecture, deployment, and governance of scalable data systems across its AI-infused scenario planning platform. The role covers end-to-end data pipelines, real-time and batch processing, data lakes and warehouses, distributed computing, streaming, data quality, and modern software development practices. Candidates need extensive production data engineering experience, expertise with databases and distributed frameworks, strong SQL and Python skills, and familiarity with cloud infrastructure; leadership, mentoring, observability, and enterprise planning platform experience are desirable.
