EnergyHub is hiring a Principal Data Engineer to design and implement software and data systems that ingest, manage, and scale telemetry, energy, weather, and utility data from electric vehicles, smart thermostats, batteries, and other energy IoT devices. The role leads system architecture and data pipeline development, builds APIs and tools for hardware and enterprise integrations, supports virtual power plant analytics, and mentors engineers. It requires 10+ years of professional software development experience, Python and SQL, data pipeline and ELT/ETL experience, system design expertise, and data warehouse and data modeling experience. The position offers a base salary of $180,000–$220,000 USD, 100% paid medical coverage, and other benefits.
