Description
NIQ is hiring a Principal Engineer to provide technical leadership and operational ownership for the CPS DataValidation platform supporting NielsenIQ's OmniShopper and Homescan solutions. The role owns platform reliability, production support, incident management, observability, architecture, technical strategy, and strategic OmniShopper initiatives across on-premise and Azure systems. It requires 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in staff, principal, architect, or equivalent technical leadership roles, along with experience owning mission-critical production systems and supporting enterprise-scale data platforms. The position requires strong Python, database, Linux, SQL, Azure, PySpark, data quality, and ETL expertise, along with cross-functional stakeholder leadership.
