Description
The Senior Data Engineer will own data acquisition, transformation, analytics scheduling, operationalization, and data delivery architecture. The role leads Hadoop EMR and AWS-based big-data infrastructure, scalable distributed pipelines, real-time processing, monitoring, automation, and data-tool development, while supporting software developers, database architects, and data scientists. It is an onsite contract-to-hire position in Irvine, California, requiring a bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience, 12+ years of data software engineering experience, and expertise in Python, AWS, Hadoop, Spark, Kinesis, and related technologies.
