ServiceNow is hiring a Principal Data Platform Software Engineer to architect and operate RaptorDB at scale across hybrid datacenter and public-cloud infrastructure. The role leads database deployment, backup, restore, replication, failover, performance optimization, incident response, and operational resilience while collaborating with development, infrastructure, security, and customer-facing teams. Candidates need extensive software engineering and database experience, distributed-systems expertise, cloud and Kubernetes knowledge, and proficiency with Go, Python, or equivalent languages. The position offers a base salary of $240,100 to $420,200 plus equity, variable compensation, and benefits.
