Description

Capital One is hiring a Principal Data Scientist for its AI Foundations Specialist Models Data Science team, focused on building and shipping scalable AI/ML solutions for the Capital One mobile app and digital assistant Eno. The role partners with cross-functional teams to develop, train, evaluate, validate, and operationalize NLP and LLM-based models using technologies such as PyTorch, AWS, Hugging Face, LangChain, Lightning, and vector databases, with an emphasis on customer-facing generative AI experiences at scale.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field plus 5 years of data analytics experience, or Master's degree in a quantitative field/MBA with quantitative concentration plus 3 years of data analytics experience, or PhD in a quantitative field
Required Previous Experiences: 5 years of data analytics experience for a bachelor's path, or 3 years of data analytics experience for a master's/MBA path
At least 3 years of experience in Python, Scala, or R, machine learning, and SQL
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s or PhD in a STEM field
AWS experience
