Microsoft is hiring a Principal Data Scientist to lead machine learning and AI solutions for Meeting Intelligence in Copilot. The role focuses on developing and evaluating large language models, natural language understanding, retrieval, reasoning, and conversational AI; establishing quality and measurement frameworks; driving experimentation and data-driven product decisions; partnering with engineering, product, design, research, and responsible AI teams; mentoring senior scientists; and representing Microsoft in publications and industry engagement.
