Grab is hiring a Principal Data Scientist for its Search and Personalization team in the Grab One North Singapore office. The role provides technical leadership on user understanding, generative recommendation, foundation models, retrieval, ranking, and other personalized experiences. Responsibilities include defining technical strategy, architecting large-scale systems, developing reusable representations and models, establishing evaluation methodologies, and partnering with engineering and product teams to move research into production. The role requires a relevant master's degree or equivalent experience, at least seven years of industry experience, and expertise in deep learning, recommendation systems, information retrieval, Python, distributed systems, and experimentation.
