Citizens Bank is hiring a Principal Database Engineer to own and architect Oracle Exadata, enterprise Oracle, multi-database, cloud, and AI-ready data platforms. The role covers platform strategy, performance and capacity engineering, high availability and disaster recovery, licensing and cost governance, database operations, cloud modernization, data replication and streaming, automation, security, and technical leadership. It requires at least 10 years of database or DBA experience, with a hybrid schedule of four onsite days and one remote day per week at one of five listed hubs. The salary is $122,000–$180,000 per year plus a discretionary bonus, with medical, dental, and vision coverage.
