Workday is hiring a Principal DataOps Engineer (P5) to serve as a technical authority and primary architect for its enterprise data platform program. The role defines long-term infrastructure vision, Terraform and CI/CD standards, high-scale reliability, DataOps and active data governance, and AI-first agent networks across Sana and Gemini environments. It requires 12+ years of enterprise data platform, DevOps, cloud automation, program management, or platform engineering experience, with expertise in distributed data platforms, Terraform, CI/CD, and enterprise data tools. The primary location is Toronto, Canada, with a base salary range of CAD 142,800–214,200 and a flexible work arrangement requiring at least 50% office or field time per quarter.
