Description

ResMed is seeking a Principal Demand Planning Manager to lead strategic forecasting and demand management for their medical device portfolio. This role involves driving business growth, profitability, and operational excellence by supporting regional Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes. The manager will leverage advanced analytical tools, foster cross-functional collaboration, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize demand planning and inventory management.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of experience in demand planning or related roles, ideally within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sector, with demonstrated mastery in assumptions-based planning, statistical forecasting, and inventory optimization.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree or MBA or advanced professional certifications (e.g. APICS CPIM, CSCP, IBP, CPF)
Expertise in the Oliver Wight framework for Integrated Business Planning (IBP) or Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), including leading consensus reviews, process maturity assessments, and executive-level governance.
Knowledge of medical device regulatory requirements, new product launches, global inventory networks, and familiarity with lean methodologies.
