Campspot is hiring a Principal DevOps Engineer to lead the evolution of its cloud-native infrastructure. The role owns Kubernetes and EKS platforms, standardizes Helm deployments, manages AWS infrastructure with Terraform and Terragrunt, optimizes cloud costs, implements observability and security controls, leads cross-team initiatives, and mentors engineering teams. Candidates need at least 8 years of DevOps, infrastructure, or SRE experience, including 2+ years in a senior or principal-level role, along with deep AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Terragrunt, GitOps, scripting, Linux, networking, and cloud security expertise. The position is remote-first, with priority for candidates near Grand Rapids, Michigan, or the Denver and Chicago hubs, and offers a base salary of $155,000–$180,000 plus medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
