Description
Urban Green is hiring a Principal Ecologist to lead complex ecological projects from client liaison through completion, manage and mentor ecologists, support business development and fee proposals, and oversee quality, health and safety, compliance, and profitable delivery. The role also includes preliminary ecological appraisals, ecological impact assessments, habitats regulations assessments, and ecological clerk of works support, with line management of Assistant to Senior Ecologists. It is a hybrid position requiring extensive consultancy experience, a relevant degree, MCIEEM membership, UK wildlife legislation knowledge, protected species licences, and a full UK driving licence.
