Astera Labs is hiring a Principal Electrical Design Engineer to lead the architecture, design, validation, and technical strategy for advanced board-level hardware across networking and high-performance connectivity platforms. The role owns multi-layer PCBs, high-speed SerDes, power delivery, signal integrity, component qualification, bring-up, debug, and cross-functional product delivery, while mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction. It is a full-time, on-site position in San Jose requiring 12+ years of progressive hardware design experience and a base salary of $185,000–$240,000.
