AECOM is hiring an experienced Principal Electrical Designer for its Perth-based team. The role delivers high-quality electrical and instrumentation design documentation, including 2D and 3D drawings, layouts, production drawings, technical sketches, design packages, tender documentation, construction drawings, and as-built documentation. The designer will collaborate with engineers, project managers, clients, contractors, and suppliers; review drawings for accuracy and compliance with Australian Standards; resolve technical issues; and mentor other designers. The position offers hybrid work options and requires strong electrical or instrumentation design experience, proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation, knowledge of Australian Standards and engineering drawing practices, and strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
